McEachern (Powder Springs, Ga.) quarterback Bailey Hockman, the No. 63 recruit in the 247Composite for the Class of 2017, has decommitted from Georgia.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Hockman, who had committed to the Bulldogs in June, made the announcement via Twitter. It comes less than two weeks after Georgia hired Kirby Smart as its next head coach.

As a 10th grader, Hockman threw for 2,520 yards and 30 touchdowns, earning MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors a year ago.

This fall, he helped lead McEachern to a 10-2 record.
