Softball Recap: Edgerton Crimson Tide vs. Janesville Parker Vikings
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Edgerton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Janesville Parker Vikings.
Brenna Callmer spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Edgerton's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Kahl, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
