Xavier Gonzalez Game Report: vs Hillsborough

Xavier Gonzalez tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his sixth in a row with one or fewer walks. On the season, he has an ERA of 6.00 over 9.1 innings pitched.

Coming up, Gonzalez and Riverview will square off against Plant City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sharks have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
