Football Game Preview: Suffern Mounties vs. Mamaroneck Tigers

The Suffern Mounties will challenge the Mamaroneck Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Suffern, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Mamaroneck's (thus far) undefeated season.

Suffern's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Scarsdale on Friday. They were beaten by the Raiders 50-0. While losing is never fun, the Mounties can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Raiders are ranked 116th).

Meanwhile, Mamaroneck never let their opponents score on Friday. They came out on top against Clarkstown South by a score of 7-0.

Suffern's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mamaroneck, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
