Softball Recap: Bradford Prep Takes a Loss

Bradford Prep was the 17-2 winner over Christ the King when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bradford Prep Bears came up short against the Christ the King Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 22-12. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crusaders 7-3 in the first period.

Everly Sierra led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Addison Davis was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Even though they lost, Bradford Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .595 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bradford Prep fell to 2-1. As for Christ the King, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

While Bradford Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
