Basketball Recap: Sandia Prep Takes a Loss

Sandia Prep was the 72-49 winner over Grants when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sandia Prep Sundevils took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grants Pirates on Saturday.

Sandia Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Grants, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Looking ahead, Sandia Prep will take on East Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grants, they will host St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Pius X will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Grants surely won't give up without a fight.
