Sedgwick has gone 9-1 against Remington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals will challenge the Broncos. Sedgwick will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
It was a proper cat-fight when Sedgwick duked it out with Moundridge on Thursday. The Cardinals blew past the Wildcats 12-4. Considering the Cardinals have won three games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Corey Crumrine made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Sedgwick let Karston Wall and Spencer Crumrine run wild. Wall scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while Crumrine scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Wall is also on a roll when it comes to RBI, as he's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Preston Agee, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Sedgwick was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Remington made easy work of Bennington last Friday and carried off a 16-10 victory. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Pius Graf was a standout: he scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Claassen, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5.
Sedgwick's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Remington, their record is now 2-0-1.
Sedgwick took their victory against Remington when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
