Volleyball Recap: Melrose-Mindoro Comes Up Short

Melrose-Mindoro lost against Neillsville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Cooper Zeman paced Melrose-Mindoro's offense, picking up eight kills. Zeman got some help from Abby Heimdahl and her ten assists. Miranda Banse controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Melrose-Mindoro's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Neillsville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Melrose-Mindoro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Whitehall on the 11th. As for Neillsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Eleva-Strum on the 11th.
