Recap: Fulshear Chargers vs. Foster Falcons

The Fulshear Chargers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 70-13 win over Foster. Given Fulshear's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Foster is ranked 582nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fulshear's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deuce Barrington, who threw for 392 yards and six touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Patrick Broadway ii was another key contributor, gaining 257 total yards and three touchdowns.

Fulshear's win was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 10-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Fort Bend Kempner and 1-9 Foster (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 34.8% over those games). As for Foster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Fulshear will face off against Waltrip at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Waltrip is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Foster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
