Soccer Recap: C.B. Aycock Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against South Johnston last Wednesday, C.B. Aycock came back down to earth. The Golden Falcons lost 3-0 to the Fike Demons on Monday. While losing is never fun, C.B. Aycock can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 257th, while Fike are ranked 113th).

C.B. Aycock's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7-1. As for Fike, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-2 record this season.

C.B. Aycock has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against East Wake on the 16th. As for Fike, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Southern Wayne on the 16th.
