Dunnellon snaps three-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Dunnellon Tigers vs. Trinity Catholic Celtics
The Dunnellon Tigers fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Trinity Catholic Celtics on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 59-51 to the Celtics. Dunnellon was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Trinity Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on January 5th.
Dunnellon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chris Henry, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jheven Ford, who scored 11 points.
Dunnellon's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Trinity Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Dunnellon will head out on the road to take on West Port at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Port will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Trinity Catholic will take on Mount Dora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Dora has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
