Softball Recap: East Marion Comes Up Short

East Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Sacred Heart Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 back in March.

Adrinae Aikens was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

East Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

East Marion has already played their next contest, a 22-17 victory against Resurrection Catholic on the 4th. As for Sacred Heart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Richton on the 4th.
