Softball Recap: Sylmar Spartans vs. Poly Parrots
Sylmar lost against Poly two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans came up short against the Parrots, falling 11-5. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Katherine Godoy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Melanie Andrade was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.
Sylmar's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Poly, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
