They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 5-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Calvary Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to Campbell County. The game marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Calvary Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.

Holy Cross took their win against Calvary Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
