Volleyball Recap: Aubrey's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Aubrey's tournament run continued when they took on Wimberley on Saturday. The Chaparrals fell 2-0 to the Texans. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Chaparrals were not able to get on the board.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Wimberley scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17.

Having lost for the first time this season, Aubrey fell to 7-1. As for Wimberley, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aubrey will venture away from home to challenge Gunter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wimberley, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Cedar Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
