Football Recap: New Brockton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If New Brockton was riding high fresh off their 42-7 takedown of Geneva last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gamecocks fell 16-6 to the Ashford Yellowjackets on Friday. The Gamecocks lost against the Yellowjackets in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 41-0 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why New Brockton lost, don't look at Anthony Silar. Despite the final result, he picked up 140 receiving yards.

New Brockton dropped their record down to 5-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ashford, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
