Soccer Game Preview: Nipomo vs. Cabrillo

The Nipomo Titans will head out on the road to take on the Cabrillo Conquistadores at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Nipomo and Morro Bay finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cabrillo). They blew past Mission College Prep 5-0 on Friday. Cabrillo haven't had any issues with Mission College Prep recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Nipomo's draw gives them a new season record of 9-2-3. As for Cabrillo, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11-2.

Everything went Nipomo's way against Cabrillo in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as Nipomo made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
