Volleyball Recap: Sierra Takes Down Edison in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Sierra rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Edison Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Sierra was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-13.

Sierra's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nicole Gibson, who had eight digs and eight assists.

Sierra's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 32-12. As for Edison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-20 record this season.

Sierra will head out to take on Fresno Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
