Worthington Kilbourne had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bishop Hartley Hawks by a score of 2-0.

Worthington Kilbourne easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11.

Jake Haslett paced Worthington Kilbourne's offense, picking up eight kills. Haslett got some help from Alex Ishida and his 17 assists. Ishida also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Austin Wishon, racking up two apiece.

Worthington Kilbourne pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bishop Hartley, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coming up, Worthington Kilbourne will play host again on Saturday to welcome Northmont, where the match is scheduled at 12:00 p.m. As for Bishop Hartley, they will be playing at home against West at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
