Soccer Game Preview: Hershey vs. Cedar Cliff

The Hershey Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Cedar Cliff Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hershey has nine straight victories, Cedar Cliff has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Hershey's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They skirted past Palmyra 1-0. Hershey's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last nine matchups.

Meanwhile, Cedar Cliff didn't have quite enough to beat Cumberland Valley on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Cedar Cliff's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Hershey, their win bumped their record up to 15-1-1.

Everything went Hershey's way against Cedar Cliff in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Hershey made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
