Baseball Game Preview: Nashua North Titans vs. Trinity Pioneers

The Nashua North Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Trinity Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Nashua North is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Salem just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Owen Forcier made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Austin Suchecki, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Trinity faced Exeter in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pioneers lost 11-5 to the Blue Hawks.

Nashua North's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Trinity, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2.

Nashua North beat Trinity 4-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
