Marshall has gone a perfect 10-0 against Belleville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals will face off against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Marshall is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Kierstin Hoel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Carly Checky, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Belleville fell victim to Lakeside Lutheran and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Warriors. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Belleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Everything went Marshall's way against Belleville in their previous meeting back in April, as Marshall made off with a 12-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
