Baseball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern lost against Bowie on April 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 21-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwestern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alberto Weaver, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Bowie, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern will challenge Laurel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowie, they will venture away from home to take on Bladensburg at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
