Football Game Preview: Ohio County Eagles vs. Grayson County Cougars

The Ohio County Eagles will square off against the Grayson County Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

While Ohio County is heading in to the game without a win, things might be looking up considering their last matchup was the closest they've come to getting one. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 22-20 heartbreaker at the hands of Webster County. On the bright side, the 20- point effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

Meanwhile, Grayson County fell victim to Barren County and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 43-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Ohio County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Grayson County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Ohio County lost to Grayson County at home by a decisive 33-14 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
