Football Game Preview: Lakeview Gators vs. Montgomery Tigers + How To Watch

The Lakeview Gators will head out on the road to challenge the Montgomery Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeview hasn't scored more than 12 points for eight games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Lakeview's last matchup with Northwood could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. Lakeview was outmatched by Northwood and fell 72-0.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Montgomery lost 38-18 to Logansport.

Lakeview will need to focus on slowing down Eli Bullock, one of several Montgomery players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 107 receiving yards and one TD. Bullock got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 66 yards. Jeremiah Christian was in the mix too, providing Montgomery with one touchdown.

Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lakeview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Lakeview took a serious blow against Montgomery in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 50-20. Can the Gators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
