Basketball Recap: Ardmore Starts Season with Victory at Home

Ardmore gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They skirted past the Star-Spencer Bobcats 59-56.

Ardmore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aedan Ellison led the charge by putting up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamane Stubblefield, who posted 12 points.

Star-Spencer is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ardmore is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Anadarko at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Star-Spencer, they will face off against Bethany at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
