Case extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 14-4 in the process. Everything went their way against the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons as they made off with a 10-3 win. Considering the Cardinals have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Lila Alvarez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
