Football Recap: Palm Beach Central's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Palm Beach Central fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Boca Raton on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Boca Raton Bobcats 19-13. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Palm Beach Central's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.8 points on average over those games. As for Boca Raton, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9.

After each having a week off, Palm Beach Central and Wellington will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:15 p.m. on April 1st. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Wellington 1.1, Palm Beach Central 11) so any points scored will be well earned. Boca Raton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jupiter at 6:00 p.m. on April 8th.
