Basketball Preview: Ector Eagles vs. Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy
Ector is 9-0 against the since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Ector Eagles will head out on the road to face off against Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy at 6:30 p.m. Ector will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Tuesday, Ector earned a 35-23 victory over the Falcons.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-32, which was the final score in Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy's tilt against the Hornets on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1554th, while the Hornets are ranked 675th).
The win got Ector back to even at 14-14. As for Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.
Ector beat the 57-46 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ector since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
