Volleyball Recap: Alhambra Comes Up Short

Alhambra was the 3-0 winner over Schurr when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Moors fell 3-1 to the Spartans on Thursday. The Moors' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Schurr, their win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alhambra will challenge rival San Gabriel at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Schurr is set to take on their familiar foe Montebello at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
