Recap: Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes vs. DeSoto Eagles
The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes extended their postseason success on Saturday against the DeSoto Eagles. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 46-39. The win was nothing new for Duncanville as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Mariah Clayton was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with two steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Coleman, who scored six points along with three steals.
Duncanville is on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 24 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 33-4 record this season. As for DeSoto, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-6.
