While Ja'Niya Smith delivered a dominant effort on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Portageville. Smith wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The game was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Smith and Portageville are on the road again on Tuesday to play Kennett at 6:00 p.m. The Bulldogs haven't beaten the Indians recently, having gone 0-9 since April of 2017.
