Recap: Cristo Rey Jesuit Lions vs. Pro-Vision Academy Warriors
The Cristo Rey Jesuit Lions's game back in December of 2023 was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged Pro-Vision Academy out 39-36. This was payback for Cristo Rey Jesuit, who suffered a 42-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Zakiya Umstead continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. Another player making a difference was Carmen Neria, who scored seven points.
Cristo Rey Jesuit has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Pro-Vision Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey Jesuit will take on Bob Hope at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pro-Vision Academy, they will be playing at home against Harmony School of Innovation at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
