Baseball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Farmington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Pahnke, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-26. As for Notre Dame Prep, they pushed their record up to 23-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Farmington has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Walled Lake Western on the 24th. As for Notre Dame Prep, they will host Cranbrook Kingswood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
