Basketball Game Preview: Fleming Colonels vs. George Wythe Maroons

The Fleming Colonels are taking a road trip to challenge the George Wythe Maroons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Fleming made off with a 42-41 win over Patrick Henry.

Meanwhile, George Wythe put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past Galax to the tune of 88-44. The Maroons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

George Wythe's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Fleming, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Fleming couldn't quite get it done against George Wythe in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 71-59. Can the Colonels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
