Brookfield put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Highland Cougars 52-6. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Cougars are ranked 298th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brookfield's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Brookfield will square off against Polo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will take on Palmyra at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Cougars their first taste of in-conference action this season.
