Meanwhile, Galesburg-Augusta came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 58-19 victory over the Colts.

Hackett Catholic Prep pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points over those games. As for Galesburg-Augusta, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Everything came up roses for Hackett Catholic Prep against Galesburg-Augusta in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 60-33 win.
