Miami waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dr. Krop Lightning a 15-0 shutout. The Stingarees were shut out 17-0 the last time they took on the Lightning, so the Stingarees were just returning the favor.

Miami's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Dr. Krop, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Coming up, Miami will challenge Hialeah Gardens at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gladiators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.92 runs per game on average), something the Stingarees will no doubt try to take advantage of. Dr. Krop does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
