Putnam lost against David Douglas back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kingsmen came up short against the Scots, falling 45-21. On the bright side, the 21- point effort marked the Kingsmen's highest-scoring matchup to date.

Putnam's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for David Douglas, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Putnam will host Parkrose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for David Douglas, they will challenge Hood River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 10.7 points per game this season, so the Scots' offense will have their work cut out for them.
