Volleyball Recap: James F. Byrnes Comes Up Short

James F. Byrnes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Travelers Rest Devildogs. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Devildogs when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

James F. Byrnes' loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Travelers Rest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12-1.

James F. Byrnes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Dorman on the 30th. As for Travelers Rest, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Eastside on the 27th.
