Football Recap: Lewisburg Patriots vs. Center Hill Mustangs
Lewisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 15-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Center Hill Mustangs. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Lewisburg wouldn't let Center Hill keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Lewisburg can thank Cable Bearden and Luke Spence for forcing both of them. Bearden is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Lewisburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Center Hill, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
Lewisburg will square off against Olive Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Center Hill, they will challenge Gentry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
