Baseball Recap: Onaga Buffaloes vs. Atchison County Tigers        
        
		
            
 Onaga stacked  a  ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past the Atchison County Tigers 16-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Onaga also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2022.
 Onaga let  Jackson Kolterman and  Hunter Lamond loose on the outfield. Kolterman  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-5, while  Lamond  scored four  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. Kolterman continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Xavier Berges, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Atchison County's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jeston Vessar, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, a  stolen base,  and two  RBI.  Tyler McRae was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Even though they lost, Atchison County  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 13  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Onaga only tossed eight.
 Onaga has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record  this season. As for Atchison County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
 Onaga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atchison County, they will head out on the road to  take on  Jefferson West on Thursday. Jefferson West is coming into the  contest with five straight  losses at home,  meaning Atchison County will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win.
