Volleyball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington suffered their biggest defeat since August 20th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rockets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-20.

Callie Hartman paced Arlington's offense, picking up eight kills. Hartman got some help from Ellie Marquart and her 20 assists. Mireya Velazquez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pandora-Gilboa found their leader in sophomore Annabelle Benton, who had 15 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Benton.

Arlington now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Pandora-Gilboa, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Arlington will head out to take on Ridgemont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they will welcome Continental at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
