Volleyball Recap: Horizon Honors Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Horizon Honors extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Zoi Gordon. The Eagles skirted past the Chandler Prep Titans 3-2 with plenty of help from Gordon, who had 19 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-105) Horizon Honors actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Horizon Honors' victory bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Chandler Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Horizon Honors wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Arizona Lutheran Academy on the 22nd. As for Chandler Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Arete Prep on the 22nd.
