Softball Recap: Taft Toreadors vs. Sherman Oaks CES Knights
Taft extended their postseason success on Friday against Sherman Oaks CES. They blew past the Knights 17-4. 17 seems to be a good number for the Toreadors as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Chiara Cioffi was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
