Soccer Recap: Valley Central Comes Up Short

Valley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders, falling 8-0. Valley Central were not able to make up for their loss to Monroe-Woodbury from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Valley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Monroe-Woodbury, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Central will welcome Washingtonville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroe-Woodbury, they will host Newburgh Free Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
