Things were looking good for Brighton after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Farmington, falling 17-5.

Brighton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alison Nikolaus, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Another was Dalila Romero, who scored a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Highland came up short against Skyline on Tuesday and fell 8-3.

Highland dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Brighton, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
