Basketball Recap: Trenton's Win Ends 13-Game Losing Streak at Home

Trenton came into Friday's match having lost 13 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 34-28 W over the Celeste Blue Devils on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1415th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 488th).

Trenton's win ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-16. As for Celeste, they dropped their record down to 23-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Trenton has already played their next game (against Honey Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Celeste will square off against Whitewright at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
