Basketball Game Preview: Brewbaker Tech Rams vs. Greenville Tigers

Brewbaker Tech is 9-1 against Greenville since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Brewbaker Tech Rams will host the Greenville Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Brewbaker Tech was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to Andalusia.

Despite the defeat, Brewbaker Tech got top-tier performance from Kennedi Mcghee, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 19 boards. Mcghee is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Heleyna Pennic, who posted 16 points.

Meanwhile, Greenville ended up a good deal behind Charles Henderson on Tuesday and lost 38-20.

Brewbaker Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Greenville, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7.

Brewbaker Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Greenville in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, but they still walked away with a 50-45 win. Will Brewbaker Tech repeat their success, or does Greenville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
