Basketball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus lost against Luther Prep back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Columbus Cardinals fell to the Luther Prep Phoenix 54-50.

Columbus has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Luther Prep, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Columbus has already played their next match (against Lodi), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Luther Prep has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against St. Francis.
